Of the remaining 80%, LuViva would be able to remove 35-40% of them from additional, unnecessary testing.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #7686c2;\"><strong>Contraindications<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Pregnancy<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Menstruation on the exam day<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Radiation therapy to the genitourinary system within a year of the exam<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Prior hysterectomy\u00a0<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Congenital anatomic cervical variant (eg, double cervix)\u00a0<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Friable cervix\u00a0<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Postcoital or other significant bleeding\u00a0<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Excessive cervical mucus or discharge that cannot be removed or the operator believes is significant enough to interfere with a cytology or colposcopy\u00a0<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">History of photosensitivity or other disease affected by ultraviolet radiation\u00a0<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Phototherapy\u00a0<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Recent use of photosensitizing agents\u00a0<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<address><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Referral test indicating risk of severe dysplasia<\/span><\/address>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LuViva is intended for use after\u2026 abnormal cytology and\/or\u00a0 positive HPV findings and\/or other risk factors to triage women aged 16+ for additional evaluation prior to colposcopy and biopsy \u00a0 \u00a0 LuViva is to be used on a referred population of women following an abnormal pap test, positive HPV test, or other symptomatic referral cause.
